Orthodontics

Straightening teeth takes months. Braces and clear aligners both work, and they suit different cases. The consultation works out which one fits yours, and whether it is a case for a specialist.

What happens

  1. Records and assessment

Photographs, imaging and measurements of your bite.

  2. The options

What each approach would involve, how long it would take, what it would cost, and what is required of you day to day.

  3. Regular reviews

Orthodontic treatment needs periodic adjustment appointments. These are mapped out in advance so you can see the full commitment.

  4. Retention

Teeth move back over time. Retainers are part of the treatment and are included in the plan from the start.

What this covers

  • Clear aligner treatment
  • Fixed braces
  • Retainers
  • Referral to an orthodontist for complex cases

Things worth knowing

  • Treatment time depends on the case and on how consistently aligners are worn. We give an estimated range at the consultation.
  • Complex cases are referred to a specialist orthodontist.
